Have you been wanting to make some changes in your life? Perhaps you have been contemplating beginning an exercise program, running a marathon, taking a university course, and/or needing more relaxation. Have you been feeling overwhelmed? feeling stuck? lacking energy? losing sleep? increasingly irritable? wanting more out of your life?

Goals of Life Skills consultation may include:

  • Identifying what YOU really want to get out of YOUR life
  • Learning how to accomplish goals that you have been putting off out of fear, not enough time, little emotional support
  • Decreasing and managing your stress
  • Seeing yourself as successful
  • Improving your ability to communicate·
  • Increasing your life satisfaction
  • Feeling more in charge of your life
  • Relaxing and concentrating on cue
  • Increasing your self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Learning how to create more time for you
  • Living a more balanced life

Life Skills Coaching is about unsticking the stuck. It’s about making changes – comfortably and at your own pace.

Consultations usually include an initial assessment. From there, we decide how it will be best to proceed. Life Skills Coaching is available by telephone, in-person, or through Skype.

This course has changed me – for the better. I am excited that I realize what I can do to open up my lifestyle so that there is room for improvement. I am even more excited that I found a way to make more people smile and in turn make myself feel better about the world. Like I said, other classes give a lot of material and will make you study to simply remember a little. What I did not say was, this course gave a lot of material and leaves you wanting to remember all of it. This was a course that I found myself rereading the book and the exercises even after I was no longer required to do so. It makes me feel like I have a better grip on changing the world, not only because I can understand my interactions with myself and others, but because I found a way to be happier with my life – optimism. Due to previous events, I was scared that I would not be happy again. I expected that happiness was just something that came to you. However, I did not know that being more optimistic has to capacity to make you happier. It was great to learn that there were steps one could take to become more optimistic, and being more optimistic has made me happier. I am thankful for this course the same way that I am thankful for a person who would lend me a helping hand when I am in need.

With these new skills and knowledge I’ve acquired through this Interpersonal Psychology class, I will incorporate them to both aspect of my professional career & life. I know that by doing so I will improve and become a communicator. I realized that every time I take your courses, I always learn new ways to improve my life and in this particular course there are also rooms for improvement for my job. Thanks to your classes, I have a positive outlook in the sports world, my eating habit has improved immensely, I’ve learned the basic knowledge on how to manage stress in my life and now I will be able to improve myself to become a better communicator.
